Easy Christmas Cake Recipe

Pomegranate Christmas Cake we introduced. This is what I do for my family for Christmas dinner. Frankly, I feel that I made a new cake, my sister tells me that her new boyfriend really like it. Well, what do you think? This is a favorite cake! You've probably heard about it and go. In all seriousness, this cake is great; upwards.

I grenade my nieces fifth birthday so you have to cut out everything that I had to take a picture of the inside, but I have corrected very nicely this cake. Her mother (my sister), I said, what happens when you ask for a food blogger to make a birthday cake. She does not seem to care;). The cake was an absolute hit, and not a crumb left behind. Just 15 minutes after we cut the cake, there was only a small tape is left; overturned. It was too much to destroy it. I hope it makes the holidays more merry and bright Christmas cake.

Ingredients for the cake
6 large eggs, room temp (if it's cold, put in warm water for 15 minutes)
1 cup sugar
1 cup unbleached all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Pomegranate Topping ingredients:
    ounces (3.4 cups) pomegranate juice (POM Wonderful)
2 tsp unflavored gelatin powder (I used Knox brand)
1 tablespoon vanilla
2 tablespoons sugar
Large grains of garnet (1 1/4 to 1 1/2 cups)

Syrup Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups pomegranate juice (brand POM)
2 tablespoons sugar

Ingredients for Pomegranate Cream frosting:
2 sticks unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
3 cups powdered sugar
1.4 teaspoon fine sea salt
16 ounces (2 blocks),softened , cream cheese to room temperature and cut into 16 pieces
4 tablespoons Pomegranate juice (POM brand)

6 ounces (3.4 cups) pomegranate juice (POM Wonderful)
2 tsp unflavored gelatin powder (I used Knox brand)
1 tablespoon vanilla
2 tablespoons sugar
Large grains of garnet (1 1/4 to 1 1/2 cups)

Syrup Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups pomegranate juice (brand POM)
2 tablespoons sugar

Ingredients for Pomegranate Cream frosting:
2 sticks unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
3 cups powdered sugar
1.4 teaspoon fine sea salt
16 ounces (2 blocks) softened ,cream cheese to room temperature and cut into 16 pieces
4 tablespoons Pomegranate juice (POM brand)

Preheat oven to 350F. Oil within two 9 "cake pans and line the bottom of the pan sides with parchment paper.

Combine 6 eggs and 1 cup sugar in the bowl of your electric mixer and beat on high speed for 12 minutes or until tripled in volume and fluffy. 1 cup all-purpose flour, sift and fold in with a spatula just until all the flour is incorporated. Smoking in half tsp vanilla and blend together. Remember fluffy cake batter is poured with an air of confidence, if you are on the rise. Prevent excessive or your cake will not rise properly.

Transfer your dough for your cake, greased and lined. Set aside.
